Internal work

Simplify Internal Initiatives From Operations & Maintenance, to R&D and Marketing

Initiation

  • Collect Ideas or proposals for internal work and vet them to determine projects for execution
  • Determine the resources required for the project, such as personnel, tools, and technologies needed for successful project execution.
  • Define the overall project timeline, including key milestones, deadlines, and any critical deliverables to ensure project progress.
  • Identify potential risks such as resource shortages, timing issues, or internal resistance, and define mitigation strategies for

Planning

  • Break down the project into smaller, manageable tasks and activities, along with dates and dependencies to define a project schedule.
  • Estimate the costs for the project, including internal resources, tools, or software required for execution, ensuring proper financial control.
  • Define team members’ roles, responsibilities, and reporting structures, assigning tasks based on skillsets and expertise.
  • Develop a risk management plan that includes contingency measures for any risks identified, such as delays in task completion or unexpected resource unavailability.

Execution

  • Execute work, track completion, ensuring everything is progressing according to schedule, and address any delays or issues.
  • Monitor project performance against predefined KPIs and success criteria, such as project completion on time, team efficiency, or task accuracy.
  • Track and manage any changes in scope, deliverables, or timelines. Ensure that all change requests are properly documented, approved, and communicated to both the internal team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor risks throughout the execution phase, implementing mitigation strategies as required to address new or evolving risks that could affect project success.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders through project updates, and collaborative platforms to ensure alignment and transparency.

Closeout

  • Prepare and distribute final project reports to key stakeholders, including a summary of accomplishments, lessons learned, and any areas for future improvement.
  • Conduct a post-project review with the team to identify what worked well and what could be improved in future projects.
  • Close the project formally, ensuring that all deliverables have been completed, stakeholders are satisfied, and the project is officially closed.
